sparkle and shine

I love and deeply respect Sami Jo.

More than anything, I hoped and I prayed that this session to be a gift of creativity, empathy, and empowerment to her and her family. Strength, endurance, hope, love, and joy- those were the words that went round and round my head and I hope a bit of that narrative seeped out into the resulting images. 

Because we all go through the ugly in this life- but not all of us makes the kind of brave and beautiful choices Sami Jo and her family has made again and again. The kind of choices that bind you together so, so strongly as a family unit and give your spirit sparkle.
